Six People Killed in Nerwa Accident in Himachal

Shimla (April 19) – Six people were killed and two others seriously injured when an eight seater vehicle rolled down the hill into a gorge at Ranvi in Nerva tehsil in Shimla district, said district police.

“The camper vehicle carrying 8 persons was going from Paouria to Nerwa, fell down from the road killing six of the eight occupants. Two injured including a driver were immediately removed to the nearest hospital at Nerwa. Three of the dead are women, “ said Chopal DSP Santosh Sharma.

All deceased have been identified as Sunil (32) from Gajtari village , Rajinder Gajta (58) from Burech village , Kalavati (47) from village Ranvi , Shanti Devi (55) from Poran village,Devi Singh (65) from Ranvi village and Kalpana (45) from Poran village in Chopal tehsil of Shimla district.

The injured included Paras (23) of village Gajtari and the driver Arun (36) of the same village
